    We asked our friend Laura (@91_Lane) to help us with a recipe inspired by the notes of our super popular Lush Greens body wash. She sent us this delicious Lush Greens Salad recipe that we're obsessed with - we are sure you're going to love it. 

    Lush Greens Salad Recipe

    This salad is a perfect combination of sweet and savory flavors - the pears and dates add a touch of sweetness while the fennel and comté cheese give a touch of savory. 

    Serves: 4

    Salad Ingredients: 

    • 2 Pears
    • Mixed greens
    • 1 Fennel
    • 5 Dates
    • ¼ C Comté cheese
    • ¼ C Chopped walnuts

    Dressing Ingredients:

    • ¼ C red wine vinegar
    • 1/3 C Walnut oil
    • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
    • 1 tsp Honey
    • 2 grated garlic cloves
    • ½ tsp Salt & pepper

    Instructions:

    1. For the dressing: Whisk all ingredients in a bowl (except for the oil) once all the ingredients are fully integrated whisk in the walnut oil. Set aside.
    2. For the salad: Slice your pears, the fennel, dates, and comté cheese, add all ingredients to a bowl filled with the mixed greens and toss all together.
    3. When you're ready to serve your salad, add the dressing and toss once again.
    4. Garnish with chopped walnuts.

    Pro tip: Pears need a few days to fully ripen, buy your pears in advanced and store in room temperature for a softer and sweeter taste.
